Open Positions

  • We’re currently hiring for an entry-level, full-time Helper/Trainee position. You will be supporting the sewer and plumbing departments – with the opportunity for advancement into a full-time Drain Cleaner. As a trainee, you will be exposed to sewer/plumbing systems to understand and retain the knowledge provided during on-the-job training.

    As a Helper/Trainee you will be expected to:

    - Aid in repairs of sewer and water lines

    - Help Drain Cleaning Techs with locating and clearing sewer drain blockages

    - Understand the basic operation of sewer systems and methods to cleaning them

    - Basic knowledge of the installation of sewer pipes/lines

    - Basic knowledge of varied types of sewer repair materials/equipment and their uses

    Required Skills

    - Must be able to understand, remember, and carry out oral and written directions

    - Ability to learn quickly from oral and written explanations and from demonstrations

    - Ability to perform manual labor tasks as required

    - Ability to perform routine mechanical operations (example: trailering etc.)

    - Ability to perform manual tasks either alone or as a member of a group

    - Ability to perform heavy manual labor for prolonged periods of time under varying temperatures and climatic conditions

    - Ability to learn to use the tools and equipment needed to perform routine, unskilled labor tasks

    - Ability to follow safety precautions in the operation of assigned tools and equipment.

    - Ability to obtain, store, safeguard, and use equipment, materials and supplies.
